Some injectors compare aesthetic services to luxury brands like Louis Vuitton or Maybach, arguing these services shouldn't be negotiated. However, this comparison isn't quite accurate. Unlike these luxury brands, the aesthetic industry regularly offers specials and promotions, indicating there is indeed room for discussion on pricing.
However, this doesn't mean aggressive bargaining is appropriate. Instead, consider these professional approaches:
• Discuss package pricing for multiple treatments
• Work with patients to align their procedures with seasonal promotions
• Pay attention to competitor offers and be willing to honor another provider's offer or "price match" as long as you feel it's legitimate
As an experienced injector, I've seen the consequences of choosing providers solely based on low prices. Quality and safety should always be your primary concerns. However, looking and feeling your best shouldn't be exclusive to those with unlimited budgets.
That is why I have open conversations with my patients about their budget constraints. Together, we can develop a treatment plan that balances their aesthetic goals with their financial comfort zone.
